Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how we work, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. By using our site or placing an order, you’re agreeing to everything below. If something doesn’t make sense or you want clarification, just email us at support@dissertationsbyluke.com.

1. What We Do

We help students who are working on dissertations, theses, and research-heavy assignments. That includes full writing support, editing, formatting, coaching, and feedback. Some clients use us to complete entire chapters. Others use our drafts to guide their own writing. Either way, we’re here to help you move forward.

2. Academic Code of Conduct

We take your privacy and trust seriously. Our service is designed to support your academic journey; whether that means help getting started, refining a draft, or managing a tough deadline.

Every university has its own rules about external academic support. Some are more flexible than others. It’s up to you to decide how you use the work we provide.

3. Orders and Delivery

When you order, you agree to:

  • Provide complete, accurate instructions
  • Share deadlines clearly
  • Respond to messages or clarification requests in a timely way

We commit to:

  • Assigning a qualified writer, coach and manager
  • Following your brief closely
  • Delivering work on time or communicating early if there’s a delay
  • Offering fair revisions when needed

4. Revisions and Refunds

We understand that dissertations and theses go through multiple rounds of feedback – often influenced by personal preference, changing expectations, or unclear supervisor input. That’s normal, and we’re used to working with it.

Revisions (What’s Included)
You can request free revisions within 7 days of delivery, as long as the request is based on the original instructions you gave us. If we misunderstood something, missed a section, or didn’t follow formatting correctly, we’ll fix it quickly and at no charge.

Supervisor-Driven Changes
If your supervisor or committee comes back with new feedback or asks for major changes that weren’t in the original brief, we’ll gladly help – but this may count as a new task. We’ll let you know if additional time or cost is involved, and we’ll be transparent about next steps.

To make this process smoother, we recommend sharing supervisor feedback with us as early as possible, especially for ongoing or multi-chapter projects.

Extended Support
If your project involves several rounds of back-and-forth with a supervisor (common with dissertations), you may choose to continue working with the same writer for consistency. In these cases, we can set up a revision retainer or pay-as-you-go support option.

Refunds
We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. If we clearly failed to meet your original brief and can’t reasonably fix it, we’ll offer a full or partial refund based on the situation.

Refunds are not granted in cases where:

  • The work matched your original brief, but your supervisor later changed their expectations
  • The issue lies with late submission, miscommunication, or policy violations unrelated to our work
  • You submitted a modified version of our work that we didn’t review

If a refund is approved, it will be returned via your original payment method and typically processed within 5-10 business days.

We’ll always be fair. If something doesn’t feel right, just let us know – we’re real people and will do our best to help.

5. Guarantee: “Pass or Pay”

If we complete your full dissertation, thesis, or major project — and you submit our final version as-is and still receive a failing grade — we’ll refund your project fee.

To qualify:

  • You must provide your university’s grading criteria and supervisor feedback (if applicable) before or during the project
  • You must submit the version we delivered without major changes
  • You must request your refund within 6 months of delivery
  • You must send an official fail notice and feedback showing it wasn’t due to misconduct, missed deadlines, or format violations

If all terms are met and the failure wasn’t on your end, we’ll refund your project fee.

6. Billable Time

If your order includes consultation, editing, feedback, or coaching, we bill for:

  • Live or recorded calls
  • Email consultation
  • Time spent reviewing or preparing documents
  • Follow-up revisions outside the free window

We’ll always be transparent about what’s billable and what’s included.

7. Writer Reassignment

We aim to match you with the best writer for your topic and style. If you’re not happy with the match, you can request a reassignment. We’ll do our best to accommodate, depending on availability and timeline.

If substantial work has already been completed, we may charge a fee for handover or extra hours. But we’ll be fair about it.

8. Intellectual Property

Once you’ve paid in full, your final document is yours. We don’t resell, reuse, or republish custom work.

You’re not allowed to copy or distribute any internal guides, templates, or communications outside your project.

9. Confidentiality

We keep your identity, documents, and communication private. We don’t share your data or disclose your use of our service.

In the rare case of a payment dispute (like a chargeback), we may be legally required to show our payment processor that we provided the service.

10. Termination

You can end our working relationship at any time. If we haven’t started work, we’ll refund you. If we’ve begun, we’ll calculate what portion of your payment is eligible for refund based on what’s been completed.

We also reserve the right to end the relationship if necessary. If you have an unused, valid balance, we’ll refund it.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our service evolves. The most current version will always be available on our website. By continuing to use the service, you accept the latest version.
