Getting a Refund: What to Expect
Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident using our service. While most of our clients are satisfied with the work they receive, we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. This policy outlines when refunds are possible, how we assess them, and where exceptions apply.
When You Can Request a Refund
You may be eligible for a full or partial refund if:
- We missed your delivery deadline and you no longer need the work
- The work delivered did not follow your original instructions, and we’re unable to fix it through revisions
- You cancelled your order before work began
- We accepted your order but later realized we couldn’t assign a qualified writer for the topic or timeline
In these cases, we’ll either resolve the issue through a revision or refund, depending on what’s fair and feasible.
When Refunds Don’t Apply
Refunds are generally not granted in the following cases:
- The work was delivered on time and followed your brief, but your preferences or expectations changed
- Your supervisor provided new feedback after delivery that was not included in the original instructions
- You modified or edited the document yourself before submission
- Your grade did not meet expectations, but you did not qualify under our Pass or Pay Guarantee
- You request a refund more than 14 days after delivery, without any prior communication about issues
We cannot guarantee academic outcomes like grades, feedback, or supervisor approval. These are influenced by factors beyond our control — including personal bias, vague rubrics, or internal university policies.
The “Pass or Pay” Guarantee Exception
Our Pass or Pay Guarantee is a special refund policy that applies when:
- We delivered the full project
- You submitted the work exactly as we provided it
- You followed all qualifying steps
- You received a failing grade with official proof
If you meet the criteria of that guarantee, you may be entitled to a full refund, even if the work followed your brief. See our Pass or Pay Guarantee for full details.
Outside of that exception, grades alone do not qualify for a refund.
Partial Refunds
If part of the work was delivered or the error only affects part of your brief, we may offer a partial refund. We assess these on a case-by-case basis and aim to be transparent about the portion refunded based on work completed and value received.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email support@dissertationsbyluke.com with:
- Your order number
- A brief explanation of the issue
- Any supporting documents or feedback you received
We respond within 1 business day and aim to resolve refund requests within 3 to 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and typically take 5 to 10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank or provider.
Final Note
We don’t hide behind red tape. If you believe something went wrong, we’ll listen. Our goal is to resolve issues respectfully and fairly — for both you and our writers.
If you’re unsure whether your situation qualifies for a refund, reach out. We’ll always be honest about what’s possible.
